As you’ve probably noticed, we made some updates to Sportsvite… a lot of them actually. For the next few weeks, we’ll be fixing a few remaining items and pushing out a few more updates. We are dedicated to making Sportsvite the site for you to manage your recreational sports life, and this update is just the first step towards more major improvements. All New Sportsvite We’ll continue to post information on what is going out as we make changes, so check back here often for the scoop.

In the meantime, here’s a little background on what we’ve released today:

Easier Navigation

Getting in the game is easier (and sexier) than ever! A whole new look, better organization, and a completely overhauled home page, featuring a more accessible “My Schedule” to manage your game day plans like a pro.

Better Search Results

You can now search for players, teams or leagues based on their compatibility with your profile, their activeness on the site, or by the sports they play. And our powerful new filters make finding that perfect teammate or partner a breeze.

Sportsvite is Going “Local”

Tired of hearing about that Frisbee game going on in Phoenix when you’re bored in Chicago? Now, all your content is catered to your location. Whether you’re searching teams or browsing upcoming events, everything is local.

Improved Sports Matching

Your sports are now at the forefront. By adding sports and filling out more details on your sports profile, Sportsvite is able to show you players, teams and games that better suit your game. If you’re an active Soccer player and looking for games, we’ll show them to you.

Please let us know if you have any comments or feedback on the update, good or bad (we can take a little chin music). And as always, if you happen to find something broken (or were expecting something else to happen that didn’t), let us know.
