Updated Team Management Tools
Just in time for the Spring and Summer seasons, we’ve made some big updates to the teams platform on Sportsvite to help your team get organized and ready for a winning season. Here’s a quick summary of what is included in this release and some previews to whats coming up in the next one.
Simplified Team Creation
For all the new captains out there, we’ve made setting up your team on Sportsvite even easier. With the improved team creation process, you should be able to get your team setup within minutes.
New Schedule Views
Calendar View is a quick view of the upcoming games and events. You will see the time and location of your events and roster alerts where you can add an event to any day. List View is the more detailed view of your schedule which has RSVP counts, allows you to send updates and reminders, and more. There is also a game adding tool that allows you to input as many games as you like.
We’ve also added in the ability to set up your activity group on Sportsvite. If you’re part of a running club, a yoga studio or even a whitewater rafting crew, use Sportsvite to plan upcoming events, manage the group’s schedule, communicate with each other and recruit more members to join your group.
Improved Invite Functionality
Whether you’re trying to put a team together or move your existing team to Sportsvite, invite players to your team by selecting friends from your friend’s list, entering their email addresses or invite from your Gmail, AOL, Yahoo or MSN Live address book. Once they are on your roster, you can invite them to games, control their messaging settings, monitor RSVPs, and much more.
Each team has its own unique Sportsvite email address and private message board to talk about upcoming games/events or anything you want.
